We joined together yesterday and produced the best Sports Day ever. I took great pride in the sportsmanship, collaborave behaviour, resilience and skill that was displayed by all. Some examples were students cheering on everyone (it did not maer if they came first or fiſth); all staff helping on the field, in the canteen or scoring, parents helping wherever they could and doing a fantasc job to support their children. Our Sports Captains; Brad Pitman, Shanaya De Araujo, Nicholas Harrington, Kae Frichot, Russell Calma and Madilyn Radin prepared and led their teams brilliantly and I am very proud of them. Lastly, thank you to the US Marines for assisng us throughout the day to set up, run and pack down Sports Day. My favourite event was the circular relays. It was great to see the staff, the parents and the marines being able to form very compeve teams. I am really looking forward to the Early Achievement Centre Sports Evening next Wednesday evening. Just some quick reminders, reports will be sent home with the children on Friday. If you have any queries, please contact your child’s classroom teacher before the semester break. This Friday (23 June 2017) is a Staff Professional Development Day and I thank you for your support and cooperaon in making arrangements for your children to stay at home on this day. Dear Families, Congratulations to the Woodroffe Primary School staff, families and students. We joined together yesterday and produced the best Sports Day ever. I took great pride in the sportsmanship, collaborative behaviour, resilience and skill that was displayed by all. Some examples were students cheering on everyone (it did not matter if they came first or fifth); all staff helping on the field, in the canteen or scoring, parents helping wherever they could and doing a fantastic job to support their children. Our Sports Captains; Brad Pitman, Shanaya De Araujo, Nicholas Harrington, Katie Frichot, Russell Calma and Madilyn Radin prepared and led their teams brilliantly and I am very proud of them. Lastly, thank you to the US Marines for assisting us throughout the day to set up, run and pack down Sports Day.

My favourite event was the circular relays. It was great to see the staff, the parents and the marines being able to form very competitive teams. I am really looking forward to the Early Achievement Centre Sports Evening next Wednesday evening.

Just some quick reminders, reports will be sent home with the children on Friday. If you have any queries, please contact your child’s classroom teacher before the semester break. This Friday (23 June 2017) is a Staff Professional Development Day and I thank you for your support and cooperation in making arrangements for your children to stay at home on this day.
