WHO WE AREOur company has over 50 years of experience in HVAC rental services provided throughout the United States. Our professional service staff delivers and sets up temporary heating, cooling, dehumidifying, and air filtration rental equipment at your job site. OUR HISTORYIn the 1960s, our founder introduced the first mobile heater to a winter construction site allowing jobsites to begin to operate year-round. After excelling at the production of portable heaters for several decades, temporary air conditioners and dehumidifiers were added to TEMP-AIR’s portfolio in the mid-1990s. In the late-1990s, the Thermal Remediation® pest control heat treatment division of TEMP-AIR, Inc. was launched as a spin-off of the company’s construction portable heating business.

THP-SERIESDirect-fired make-up air heaters work well in most types of construction applications, helping to control moisture and air contaminants. Make-up air is air from the outdoors that is heated and then evenly distributed indoors in a controlled manner to replace air that is being exhausted. Installed either inside or outside, THP-series heaters draw 100-percent fresh air through the unit’s intake and discharge tempered air controlled bya remote thermostat. These heaters operate similar to a permanent air handler, providingevenly distributed warm, dry air into a space.

CH-300

CH-SERIESCH-series construction heaters are designed for portability and versatility with high discharge temperatures and comparatively lower fan induction ratios. These direct-fired heaters work well in loose enclosures such as under concrete deck pours, masonry enclosures, and spot heat situations. This series is ideal for sites where 115V power is available. These compact units contain remote thermostats which automatically cycle from low to high fire to maintain the desired space temperature. A control exists on the unit to verify proper air-flow before ignition can take place.

ETHP-150HS

ETHP-SERIESElectric heaters are ideal for jobsites where gas is not available or where flameless operations are necessary. Accessibility to high voltage and amperage power are required to run this type of heater. ETHP-series temporary heaters work well in confined spaces since they do not produce combustion emissions. Built-in digital temperature controls provide precise measurement of space and discharge temperatures while the thermostat automatically adjusts temperature output. The proof-of-air-flow control senses obstructed air intake and prevents coil from energizing.

MIDFO-SERIESThe trailer-mounted MIDFO-series of indirect-fired heaters are a great all-in-one option for the temporary heating of remote jobsites. This turnkey mobile heating system contains an on-board diesel fuel tank with a run time up to 28 hours. There is no need to worry about having sufficient external power available at the jobsite as the unit contains a built-in 10kW generator. This turnkey heating solution is ideal for the following applications: oil wells, wind towers, bridge construction, temporary facilities, tents, and structural drying for flood restoration.

IDF-SERIESIndirect-fired heaters are typically installed outside a structure with ductwork drawing the heated air inside the facility. This heater type works similarly to a home furnace by forcing outside air through a heat exchanger and into the space while diverting products of combustion outside of the space through a chimney. The IDF-series of indirect-fired heaters are recommended for cleanroom projects for pharmaceutical manufacturing, medical device manufacturing, and other industrial applications where maintaining a controlled environment is crucial.

HAH-SERIESHAH-series heaters are ideal for providing dry, hot air in tightly enclosed or highly insulated construction areas. Hydronic heating systems use a boiler or heat exchanger to heat a glycol solution which is then pumped through flex hose connected to a portable heat exchanger or fan coil. A blower fan then moves air across the heated coil and into the space. Next, the heat exchangers heat, circulate, and reheat interior air within the structure resulting in minimal ventilation of the space. HAH-series heaters can also be used to thaw frozen ground or cure slabs and footings.

HTHW-SERIESMobile ground thawing units help bring winter construction sites to a work-ready state quickly, efficiently, and safely. HTHW-series units are perfect for thawing ground and preventing frost penetration in isolated, remote locations to prepare jobsites for dirt and concrete work throughout the winter season. The 50% propylene glycol mix (a low toxicity anti-freeze) is heated, run through a hose, and covered with curing blankets to thaw frozen ground. Hydro-Thaw mobile ground defrosting units can thaw up to 6,000 square feet of frozen ground and 12 inches deep per day.

STHP-SERIES & TAH-SERIESSTHP and TAH-series heaters can be used in structures where there is already a central steam boiler, hot water boiler, or chilled water plant onsite. These portable air handlers, when combined with steam or hot water, will provide dry, even heat or cooling to a space. This equipment works by circulating hot water, chilled water, or steam through a coil using a blower fan that moves air through the air handler. STHP and TAH-series models are ideal for use in new construction sites, building additions, military bases, municipal plants, power or utility companies, and processing applications.

PAC-SERIESTEMP-AIR 1-10 ton air-cooled portable air conditioners are designed to easily roll from room to room to provide convenient cooling to a space. These small PAC-series mobile air conditioners fit through a standard 36-inch wide door and operate at quiet sound levels. These air-cooled units also act as dehumidifiers with a condensate tank located in a sliding drawer on the bottom of the unit. Air is filtered using Merv 7 filters to remove air contaminants. PACW-SERIESWater-cooled portable air conditioners provide cooling of enclosed spaces where you are unable to discharge the condenser heat. PACW-series units do not require condenser air ducting thus preventing negative air pressure. Alternatively, the rejected heat is transferred through the water and leaves the condenser coil through a drain. This series has very efficient water-flow management and can be used in higher temperature areas than air-cooled units. PACW-series air conditioners are most cost-effective to operate when there is access to a central chiller plant.

AIR HANDLERSThis combination cooling and heating unit is used at a facility in conjunction with an existing on-site central steam boiler, central hot water boiler, temporary chiller, or temporary boiler.

TAH-SERIESTAH-series units can be used in structures where there is already a central steam boiler, hot water boiler, or chilled water plant onsite. These portable air handlers, when combined with steam or hot water, will provide dry, even heat or cooling to a space. This equipment works by circulating hot water, chilled water, or steam through a coil using a blower fan that moves air through the air handler. TAH-series models are ideal for use in new construction sites, building additions, military bases, municipal plants, power or utility companies, and processing applications.

TEMP-AIR offers 10 to 1,200 ton short term air-cooled and water-cooled chillers.

TCA-SERIESIf a permanent chiller system experiences sudden failure or will be undergoing planned maintenance, a chiller rental provides an effective temporary cooling solution. Alternatively, rental chillers may be a more cost effective solution for short term seasonal chiller needs versus investing in a permanent chiller system. Portable chiller rentals may be used at manufacturing plants, industrial processing facilities, hospitals, and schools. Temporary chillers can also be coupled with temporary air handlers for comfort cooling in spaces such as warehouses and large tent events.

TD-SERIESTD-series mobile dehumidifiers remove unwanted moisture and precisely control both humidity and temperature levels in a space. Desiccant dehumidifiers are used for applications with moisture levels below 45-percent relative humidity. TD-series equipment can remove 23 to 771 gallons of water per day. These packaged desiccant dehumidifiers can be used to help speed up construction finishing in flooring, painting, and millwork conditioning applications. TD-series units can also be used to restore flood damaged buildings quickly preventing mold, mildew, and other allergens.

C-SERIESThe C-2000 portable air filtration unit was developed to handle the rigorous demands of micro-decontamination operations where reliable, high volume air filtration is essential to safety and productivity. This compact air scrubber allows for the purification of air contaminants most commonly in hospital, biotechnology, scientific laboratory, pharmaceutical manufacturing, new construction, and renovation settings.
