The Canadian government decided on 13 April to ban importsfrom Argentina and to deny export credit for new transactions.
The Canadians, who introduced an arms embargo last week,have therefore now put into effect all three of the economicmeasures requested of them in the Prime Minister's messageof 6 April. I enclose a draft message of appreciation for thePrime Minister to send to Yr Trudeau.
