TECLAB® is the new generation of modularised laboratory furnitureTECLAB® is the new generation of modularised laboratory furniture

■■ UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2000.

Our Quality Management System has obtained an essential qualification, Certification according to the standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 byIAC, which constitutes a guarantee of continuity in our Quality Policy with the aim of achieving the satisfaction of our clients.

■■ R, D+I.

Dedicating between 6 and 8% of our annual turnover to R, D&I, our technical department designs and develops the models in CAD and 3D,adapting them to new laboratory technologies. However our commitment to being at the forefront of world technology is not new: we havebeen registering and patenting laboratory tables and cabinets since 1993, which has allowed us to accumulate vital and highly specializedprofessional know-how.

■■ Guarantee.

All our laboratory furniture facilities are guaranteed against any defect in manufacturing. For our clients' satisfaction and assurance, ourcompany has obtained the DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Certificate by IAC.

■■ Respect for the environment.

Complying with the EN-14001 standard and as a wood-based industry, our maximum concern is to care for and respect the environment. Woodis a noble non-polluting material, and it has been declared by the Association of North American Contractors as the building supply of the twenty-first century for being the only raw material that reproduces itself and whose preparation and fabrication process is non-polluting. We haveinvested in new technologies to avoid environmental impact in its preparation, treatment and recycling.

■■ Expansion Projects.

In the last decade we have invested in a new, modern factory, with a surface area of 2200 m2 between the factory and warehouse, followinga production policy directed at product storage and always having a substantial stock ready for immediate dispatch.

■■ Efficient management of the foremost software and hardware tools.

A knowledge of all the tools available, whether software (Autocad, 3DStudio) or hardware, and development of the most up-to-date designprograms, has endowed us with the most advanced and creative technology, able to meet any requirement our clients may have.

■■ Highly qualified workforce.

All our staff, as well as our collaborators, are highly qualified, and hold official qualifications in accordance with the task they carry out, as wellas demonstrable experience in the commercial, engineering, production or installation sectors. Our track record as manufacturers and installersof laboratory furniture is endorsed by more than 5000 facilities.

■■ One person is the interface and responsible to the client.

Our Sales Managers will be responsible for receiving, overseeing and delivering each project, thereby establishing a duality (Client-Modulabo)with a direct line of communication, saving time for the client.

■■ Guarantee of continuity, through upgrades and innovations in the Projects carried out.

Our commitment doesn't end with delivery of the project, and each job is followed up (at the client’s request or on Modulabo’s own initiative)to check product effectiveness and its possible revision and improvement, turning each project into an ongoing innovation.

■■ Alter-Sales Technical-Commercial Assistance.

Our engineering/sales department takes charge of surveying client satisfaction, offering our service at any time in the event of whatevercontingency occurring, without stinting in the time dedicated to after-sales service.

■■ Our Range Includes.

Work Benches with various surfaces, furniture of all types, gas cabinets and miscellaneous fittings.

■■ Complying with the EN 13150 standard.

■■ Estructure formed by legs in C-shaped design ®, built in cold-rolled steel profiles of 80x40x2 mm which provide enhanced strength andopenness. The structure is self-supporting and very rigid, allowing independence in the placement of modules under the bench top.

■■ Levelling system capable of supporting heavy weights and overcome floor irregularities of up to 15 mm.

■■ The legs are manufactured in two heights: 855 mm for benches 900 mm high, and 692 mm for benches 750 mm high. The bottom frontpart of the legs is protected by means of a plastic ferrule. This piece avoids scraping and is easily interchangeable.

All the metallic structures that form the table will be galvanized electrolytically and coated in epoxy resin paint.

■ The chasis is formed basically by a frame, built with rectangular tube of cross-section 40x20x2 mm. The upper crosspiece of the chassisframe allows us in turn to support the bench work tops, while the lower one holds the sliding modules.

■■ The bracing is built with rectangular tube of cross-section 40x20x2 mm and is the member that allows the connection of the legs throughthe front part. The bracing also performs the function of supporting and anchoring the bench tops, with screws, and in turn serves to guidethe sliding modules.

■■ Engineering columns are pillars employed as structural members and serve for different uses. They are made of extruded aluminium of40x40 mm in single or double section. The aluminium of which they are made is best quality and assures excellent mechanical properties andhigh resistance to chemical attack while providing an attractive finish. Coated in normally light grey epoxy resin, colour RAL 7035, whichprovides high chemical resistance.

■■ Consisting of two confronting wall-mounted benches with aservices gallery of 300 mm in the centre.

■■ Versions with shelves at one or more heights.

■■ Multiple combinations:

- With sink-unit fitting at the bench head.

- With back-to-back wall-mounted benches, etc.

Considering that a stand-alone bench can be composed of twowall-mounted units, the same material is used as that utilized forthe production of the bench top, or 40x40 mm aluminium tubes.

■■ The services gallery:

- This is the space that is left between the leg and the column. Itis 150 mm in the wall-mounted benches and 300 mm in thestand-alone benches. This length is increased by 40/80 mmdepending on whether one or two columns are mounted in thebench shelves. The main function of these galleries is to allow thepassage of the different fluids, electrical conduits, signal lines, etc.

■■ The shelf trays in the benches can be at one or more heights, which are adjustable in all cases. There are two types of shelf:

- Shelves for storing chemicals, which have a depth of 150 mmas per the EN 13150 standard.

- Shelves for other uses. Depth 300 mm.

■■ Rear Covers:

- They are easily fitted along the entire services gallery and aremounted and removed without using any type of tool.

- To simplify extraction, each panel has two slot-type pullingpoints, located on its ends.

■■ End or side covers:

- They are built with compact resin 10 mm thick and they areused to finish the sides of the stand-alone and wall-mountedbenches. The sides are held to the metallic structure with screws, the latter being finished with decorative caps on their heads.

■■ The high-low bench spacers are used to cover the gaps leftbetween the union of a low bench cover with one which is high.

These spacers are manufactured to be adapted to the wall-mounted or stand-alone benches. The material employed for theproduction of these items is the same material as that employedin the bench top.
