Migrated EPO 4.5 clients to new EPO 4.6 server. Increased overall AV footprint and policy effectiveness

Have used EPO alerts to address virus outbreaks early preventing the spread of worms and Trojans across the network.

EPO can support mobile device management (separate purchase)

DarkNet and Phishing management project in process

Project in place to scan and manage host IP’s for known and new fraud sites and command and control infrastructure

Completed security awareness training with several departments around campus

Upgrade to the encryption system in the spring. Phase 2 – All laptops/desktops at SOM to be

encrypted. Efforts within other areas of HSC. Hundreds of computers are now encrypted and

protected.  Begin offering encryption to uptown departments

Continued support of encryption issues (Avg: 1-2 major recovery issues per week 10-12 unlocks per week)

100% data retention for customers with encryption related issues.

ISO Update – Network Scanning

Rapid7 scan for ad hoc and regular reporting for PCI compliance and grant compliance

Upgraded licensing for Nexpose/Rapid7 penetration testing software and appliance. 

Nexpose used in determining security issues with Servers, workstations and other network devices on the Tulane network

Project in concert with Infrastructure team to integrate enterprise-class firewall into new top-tier network design
