About Us

Bill Creighton is Dakota Partners' Managing Director with an impressive record building, restructuring and re-positioning both

start-up and established organizations. He brings significant experience transforming government, non-profit and publishing

companies into successful Social Businesses. Bill is a digital strategist, organizational leader, business turnaround leader, crea-

tive deal-maker and award-winning journalist with two Pulitzer Prize nominations. His career spans more than 25 years and 76

countries.

T echnology innovation continues to disrupt business at breakneck speeds and State Fish and Wildlife Agencies are not immune to the changing ways they interact with their Customers. Unfortunately few agencies have in-house technical capabilities and even fewer resources to meet the growing technology innovation demands of their Customers.

This interactive workshop provides agency staff with a solid introduction to this technology revolution and provides recommendations to leverage their limited resources to adopt key technology changes that benefit their Customers.

Building an Agency Technology Roadmap

As Yogi Berra once said so eloquently, “If you don’t know

where you are going, you might not get there.”

A good map is required for any important journey. Without

one, even the most competent navigator can get lost in the

forest and confused by the noise.

Day 2 of this workshop will focus on identifying the steps re-

quired to catalogue existing and needed technologies and

begin building a Technology Roadmap for the agency of the

future.
