0When adding categories, this is creating a menu, allowing you to place articles and categorize information, allowing you to be more organize and present articles in a more eye catching display.

0This is the area where you are able to input, data, information and videos, which then can be shown on the website.

0So in the slides coming, I will show how to make the data and information appear on the homepage of the website

0We first began by inserting our dummy data, and text, to give the website a bit of content

0We then inserted a menu area, allowing you to place articles under, I then on the settings page, selected the single article option, and referenced the menu to have the content meant for the homepage.

0So now we have inserted the menu, we are now able to see, that on the overview page, we can see a menu item called ‘church blog’ this is the menu we have created.

0 I then was able to go to the homepage settings, and reference the homepage content article so it would appear on the homepage.

Modules

0Modules are the function used to move menus around the designated web page, this can change the position of certain menus, or gimmicks, letting you place them in the desired area.

0On the previous slide, it shows the module settings for the homepage, by selecting ‘select position’ you are able to then change the position of menus on the homepage.

0So therefore in conclusion, there are 4 mains steps in joomla, that you must follow in order to create a stunning website.
