Outlook Automotive Industry in ASEAN and Indonesia

Due to Covid-19 outbreak, In Indonesia total car production in 2020 from January to May dropped

33% YoY to 352,571. Total car sales in 2020 from January to May dropped 41% YoY to 248,310.

Due to Covid-19 outbreak, the automotive

sector has been hit hard, with overall Q1

vehicle sales in ASEAN5 (Indonesia,

Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and

Vietnam).
