加快落实柔佛公共交通大蓝图，纾解交通拥挤。确保中央及州政府的交通规划蓝图改善地不老地区的公路网络，扩大快捷巴士计划和电动火车线路至地不老地区，加上新柔捷运系统站联通地不老/新山/新加坡。

增 加 人 民 组 屋 建 设 ， 提 升 可负担房屋计划的居住环境。创 造 绿化 的 居 住 环 境 ， 利 用 政 府 补 贴 建造 廉 价 人 民 组 屋 ， 或 透 过 先 租 后买 减 轻 人 民 负 担 ， 让 人 民 居 者 有其屋。

发展民俗文化项目，推动深度文化旅游。塑造地不老成为文化创意研发的基地，兴建多功能文化艺术中心，搭建本土艺术交流平台。

全面发展教育先行携手共创繁荣地不老

从政以来，“空谈误国，实干兴邦”是我坚定秉持的原则。我掌管马华公会的智库，负责替政府献策，在宏观和微观上，都可以为地不老创造更多的可能性。

教育是地不老人关心的课题，我对地不老的工作其实很早已开始。我为地不老建议设立的 4 所新学校，全都被政府批准，在未来 10 年，地不老都不会面对华小不足的问题，这是我预先为地不老带来的成绩。

新山地不老选区在政府原有的机制中，已有一个团队负责民生问题，有州议员、市议员、村长、医院巡察员和马华/国阵党员，还有广大的义工群在地不老的社区服务，我会延续现有的服务，利用中央资源和经费，扩大团队，让更多有志于推进地不老社会进展的有心人和年轻人，共同建设地不老。

身为马华公会的副总会长，从学术界、智库到政治界，我累积了政、商、文、教的人脉，可以为地不老提供更多全方位的发展。

共建“一带一路”，创造全民发展机遇。配合中央及州政府的宏观政策，打造地不老成为马中两国经贸重要站点，提升旅游人次，创造就业机会，提升人民收入。

加强居委会与地方政府的联系，共同解决民生课题。设 立 完 整 交 流机制，定时与非政府组织、华团及居委会直接交流，以更妥善规划地方 发 展 。 善 用 州 政 府 和 地 方 政 府资源，维修并提升社区设备，携手解决民生课题，共同建设美好居住环境。

加强警民合作，全力打击罪案。增加警员人数，加强巡逻，在罪案频密区设立警亭，装设电眼，维持社区安全。

留台联总前总会长姚迪刚：何国忠默默耕耘的处事风格，解决了许多曾经困扰华社多年的课题。何国忠在一届高等教育部副部长任内，完成了马台学位互认，突破了重重藩篱，造福了无数莘莘学子。何国忠的政绩昭昭，不是三言两语就能轻易抹煞的。至少像我这样的留台人，愿意为这位曾经给留台学位带来柳暗花明的低调实干者说一些好话。

新纪元大学学院前院长潘永忠博士：何国忠是一个多做事，少说话的人民代议士。何国忠是有做事的人，就如马中和马台大学学位互认，整半个世纪都无法解决，他却能在任内完成工作。

著名学者已故郑良树博士：何国忠以一个学者的身分，肯放下优厚与舒适的生活走进社会服务，是很难得的事。何国忠是读书人的书生志向，情真意切，凭着一颗赤子之心为社会服务，肯定可以为华社作一番事业，这样的人值得珍惜。

成功争取批准私立大专开办中医学士课程，批准拉曼大学中文媒体新闻学系、中医系、南方学院中医系、新纪元媒体研究系等课程以中文教学。

2009年高教部批准马来亚大学设立我国第一所孔子学院。

推动马中文凭互认工作。2012 年 6 月16日，何国忠宣布我国共承认中国 820 所大学学位，而中国也承认我国 71 所大学学位。

推动马台文凭互认工作。2013年 1 月 31 日，马来西亚高教部通过 MQA 承认台湾大学文凭。

成功协助南方学院升格为南方大学学院，为柔佛华社教育史开创另一新篇章。

2013年成功让厦门大学在马来西亚设立分校，这是中国在海外所设立的第一所综合型大学。

My 5 years experience as MP for Kluang had equipped me with the necessary hands-on skills needed to manage affairs of a constituency. Challenges like floods, big and small; treated water shortages due to prolonged dry weather; properties severely damaged by violent storms; fire and health mishaps; local residents’ security; young people’s education; maintaining public’s basic facilities and conveniences at its best; and many more are not alien to me.

Although shouldering heavy duties and responsibilites, not only as a husband and father to three growing children, but also as a Deputy Minister when I was the MP for Kluang, it did not at all restrict my passion to make regular visits to the constituency and to be with the people, whether to help resolve local issues or to participate in people-centric programmes. My will and determination to give the best services to Tebrau, remains high and strong.
