DESCRIPTION

Mexico, the biggest Spanish country in the world is crying out for English teachers. As one of the fastest growing economies in central America, mainly due to it's links with the United States, English is almost a must. Couple that with a growing English speaking tourist industry and Mexico could be the best place for prospective teachers. Check out this presentation for indications of what you can expect from this great nation. University Degree?

For working visa purposes the Mexico government does not

require potential English teachers to have

any kind of degree.

However individual schools or business

placements may require a bachelor's degree and some placements will require you to have a degree and one of the

internationally recognized teaching

certificates.

Teaching Certificates

If you do not have a degree then of course one of the

international teaching

certificates such as a TEFL,

TESOL or CELTA will normally be

required. Expect salaries slightly lower if

you only have one of these and not a

degree.
