Requirements & Qualifications
University Degree?
As the demand for English teachers is quite
high in Ecuador then many schools will not require you to have a degree although some of the better paying schools will expect a
degree and some of the more prestigious
schools will require you to have both a degree and at least one of the recognized teaching
certificates.
Teaching CertificatesIt is possible to find work as an English teacher
in Ecuador without any
qualifications at all but of course you must expect
the pay to be lower than those that do require a TEFL, TESOL or
CELTA certificate.
