Focusing on the global perspective
Better CDM between ANSP – AO – MIL - CFMU network partners Cost of AO and ANSP operations taken into account Pre-tactical cell to coordinate MUAC daily strategic plan Deployment of staff in relation to traffic demand - sector configuration management - more flexible staff rostering Some tactical decision making moved Controller/Supervisor to TCM/FMP

Closing the communication gap
Closer contact with Aircraft operators and adjacent units (operational matters and familiarisation)
Inter-sector coordination on tactical level - previously isolated sector groups get closer coordination

Enhancement of tactical capability
Two-tier TCM/FMP team on duty releases TCM to concentrate on tactical solutions such as:
- Enhanced Level capping, cherry picking and re-routeing involvement by better coordination with Aircraft Operators, Adj / Subjacent Units and CFMU FMD CASA, AOLO / TNC
- Providing a stronger link between staff rostering vs. traffic demand, enabling enhancement of Sector Opening times best suited to the traffic demand situation.

Enhanced tactical coordination
‘The Bridge’ central suite. Supervisor, Assistant Sup, TCM, FMP and Flight Data to sit side by side for better overall coordination
European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation
Preparing for a busier and faster pace future cont.
Controller deployment using a break planning tool (BPT) and new flexible roster rules which allow for flexibility to match staffing to traffic demand
