PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
Congratulations to all those
students who received awards at
last weeks assembly. There were
lots of achievements to be
celebrated. It was a pleasure to
meet Kindergarten 2012 who
were a terrific audience
throughout our assembly.
Thank you to all who supported
the Year 6 pyjama/mufti day to
raise funds for the Year 6 gift to
the school. It was fantastic to see
so many involved.
I am looking forward to
celebrating the Year 6 Farewell
on Thursday night with students,
staff and parents. It is a special
occasion for Year 6 to finish up
with a celebration of their primary
school years.
Please remember to label all
jumpers, jackets so their owners
can be found quickly and all
property is returned by the end of
the year.
Regards
Liza Duncan

K - 1
K-1 are having a wonderful time doing our Christmas craft. We are still
doing spelling, maths and reading every day. Although they don’t take
home their home readers anymore, please make sure over the holidays
that they still read regularly.
2-3-4 2-3-4 will have no homework for Week 10. As we will be doing lots
of Christmas craft please remember textas, pencils and glue. 2-3-4 are
enjoying their fitness sessions and developing their skills. We will be
tidying up the classroom so please provide a plastic bag to take our
work home.
4-5-6 Nearly there!! We are busy finishing off work books and tidying up
some loose ends.
We are all working hard to complete our calendars for 2012 - some
wonderful creative efforts here.
LIBRARY/SCIENCE
Thank you to everyone who supported Book Fair this year. It has
now closed and final tallies will be known next week.
so they are all on the shelves over the
holidays, ready for borrowing in 2012.
Mrs Hayes
Being organised is a skill in itself. Over the holidays, try to think
ahead of things to do without being asked, and Mums and Dads, try
encouraging them to think of what they need to do and do it
themselves. Have fun!! ☺☺☺☺☺☺
