EducationIn order to preserve freedom in Tangestan, we have created shorter school

and work days to give people more free time. The school and work hours are:

• Monday: 9-3• Tuesday: 9-3• Wednesday: 8-12• Thursday: 9-4• Friday: 9-4• Saturday and Sunday offIn Tangestan, there are only public schools available for elementary to high

school education. After that, one chooses the college they wish to attend, but they must apply in order to gain entrance. The unit of measure in Tangestan is metric. Freedom of religion and language is encouraged, but the main language is Tangerine.

There is at least one hospital in every city, staffed by the best nurses and doctors. There is free healthcare for everyone. Once married, you also get in home care privileges. The average life expectancy is 90. Fire engines are ready at a moments notice to protect you from disasters. Just call 505 if you have an emergency.

Transportation

Public transportation is available to everyone, for free. The public transportation is comprised of buses and trains, which run on magnets that are interlaced under Tangestan. The magnets are powered by the solar panels that cover the roads. Roads do not need to be made of asphalt because the vehicles hover. In addition to this vast resource of free transportation, hover cars are given to children when they turn 16, and they are also provided with driving lessons.

Environment

To insure healthiness in the community, one hour of exercise per day is required. Community service starts at age 10 and one hour of community service a week is required to keep the community functioning. Anyone who does more than the requirement is given extra privileges. To keep everyone happy and close to the environment, there are parks in every city. Any species whose population is less than 500 is put onto an endangered species list.

Safety Net

It is the government’s priority to keep the citizens safe and happy. Because of this, every person is supplied with food, clothes and rehab if needed. Tangestan carpenters build enough houses for everyone to be able to pick a house when they graduate from college.

Relationships with Other Countries

So far Tangestan has had a very peaceful relationship with other countries. We have had no wars or conflicts. To maintain our connection with other civilizations, every person/family is given 3 weeks of vacation a year. Also, everything that is not grown or made in Tangestan is imported from other countries.

Laws and Law Enforcement

There are only a few main governing laws in Tangestan. No –isms (racism, sexism, classism), killing, or stealing. Doing so results in an infraction. Tampering with endangered species also results in an infraction. The infraction system works as follows:

• 1 infraction extra community service and you lose your car.

• 2 infractions go to jail• 3 infractions go to prison (in Australia)Laws are enforced by the local police unit.

Military

Although we have never had a conflict, Tangestan military is ready to protect the country at a moments notice. It is armed with powerful bombs and missles, and each soldier is well equipped for any conflict. Anyone who joins the army has volunteered. While in the militia, the troops and their families are well compensated. After the 8 years of service are given food, shelter, transportation, clothing, and any other needs by the government.

Economic System

Tangestan runs on a barter system, so anyone can trade for what they want and need. The government prints small amounts of money in order to be able to buy from other civilizations.
