How to download the keycode translation software of TANDY 102 (UK) (Cat. No. 26-3803)
1. Turn power ON while pressing [CTRL] and [BREAK] at the same time (Cold Start).
2. Set the cassette of the keycode translation into the cassette recorder. Press PLAY button.
3. Press [ENTER] to enter the BASIC, and execute the following command.
RUN "CAS:RESERV"
When finished, the display will return to the main menu.
4. Enter the [BASIC] again, and execute the following command to install the
keycode translation routine.
RUN "CAS:UKLOAD"
Then "OK" prompt will be displayed on the LCD and set-up of the routine
for the keycode translation is over.
Note : The following program and data are saved in this cassette.
* RESERV (Basic program)
* UKLOAD (Program to download machine language)
* KBUK80 (Data "Keycode translation routine")
* KBUKA0 ( " )
When the keycode translation software in this cassette is loaded into TANDY 102,
the following keycodes will be exchanged:
1) # (Code 23H) ----------------> £ (Code A3H)
2) £ (Code A3H) ----------------> # (Code 23H)
Then, if you press [SHIFT] and |£/3| at the same time, '£' mark will be displayed
on the LCD by Code A3H. And if you press [GRPH] and |*/8| at the same time,
'#' mark will be displayed on the LCD by Code 23H.
Note: 1. In case that you make BASIC programs, press [GRPH] and [*/8] at the
same time to input '#'.
ex) 10 OPEN "TEST" FOR OUTPUT AS #1
20 PRINT #1, "TEST"
2. When you try to print '£' input by pressing [SHIFT] and [£/3] at the
same time, '£' may not be printed out by some printers.
