Bid Invitation No : 3693-A/Engg/Ele/TTDC/2017 Date: 21.08.2017 Contract Title : “ Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Augmentation Drive” (PRASAD) for Illumination of Kancheepuram Temples under PRASAD scheme in Tamil Nadu.

1. The Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation Limited has received financial assistance from Govt.of India (GOI) for implementation of “Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Augmentation Drive”(PRASAD) for Kancheepuram in Tamil Nadu. The Part of this financial assistance from Government of India will be utilized for eligible payments under the Contract named above.

2. For and on behalf of Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation Limited, superscribed sealed tenders under “Two bid” system namely “Technical bid” and “price bid” are invited from the Companies/Consortiums having 5 years experience in the field of scenically designed decorative lighting illumination projects and should have completed minimum 9 such projects during last 5 years should meet the following requirement :-

3. Eligibility criteria: Details furnished in Instruction to bidders of Volume I and for other conditions refer bid document.

4. National Competitive Bidding (NCB) will be conducted in accordance with “Single-Stage, Two-Envelope” bidding procedure, and is open to all Bidders.

5. Interested Bidders may inspect the Bidding Document and obtain further information from the office of The Chairman & Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation Limited, Tamil Nadu Tourism Complex, Wallajah Road, Chennai –600 002

6. A complete set of the Bidding Document in English language may be purchased by interested Bidders on submission of a written application to “The Chairman & Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation Limited” address given above, on payment of a non-refundable document fee of INR 15,000 (Rupees fifteen thousand only) plus 18% GST for the Contract package separately, only in the form of Demand Draft (Indian Rupees only) during 10:00 hours to 17:00 hours on all working days starting from 21.08.17 to 20.09.17.

7. Further the Bidding Document may also be downloaded from the website www.tenders.tn.gov.in and www.tamilnadutourism.org . The method of payment of document fee will be in the form of Demand Draft in favour of “The Chairman & Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation Limited” payable at Chennai. In case the Bidding Document is downloaded from the website, the document fee has to be paid along with the Bid as a separate instrument other than that of Bid security.

8. Sealed Bids must be delivered at the address above on or before 21.09.17 (15:00 hours). Technical bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security in requisite form for an amount as indicated in Bid data of the bid document. The EMD/Bid security shall be in the form of “Bank Guarantee‟ and “Fixed Deposit Receipt‟. The Fixed Deposit Receipt Shall be drawn in favour of “The Chairman & Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation Limited”, payable at Chennai. Late bids shall be rejected. Technical Bids will be opened on the same day 21.09.17 (15:30 hours) in the presence of the bidders or bidder’s representatives who choose toattend. In the event of the specified date of bid submission/opening being declared a holiday for the Employer, the bids shall be received and opened at the same time and place on the next working day.

. 9. The Employer will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by Bidders in

connection with the preparation or delivery of Bids.

10. The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurringany liability to Bidders.

11. Pre-bid meeting with the Bidders will be held at Office of The Chairman & Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation Limited, Tamilnadu Tourism complex, at No.2, Wallajah Road, Chennai –600 002 on 30.08.17 at 11:00 hours & 12:00 hours for this Contract Package only. Bidders interested in participating in the pre bidmeeting are advised to attend the same.

12. Bidders are encouraged to visit the site, at their own cost, before the pre-bid meeting /submission of bid.Bidders may visit the respective sites from 21.08.17 to 19.09.17 for this Package during 10:00 hours to 17:00 hours.
