Since 1946. It was at the close of WWII, when Floyd Ruch founded PSI to help our returning servicemen find the best jobs where they could excel. As the author of Psychology and Life (one of the most seminal books in psychology, now in its 20th edition) and one of the original presidents of SIOP, Dr. Ruch designed many of the processes that form the basis of modern selection.

During our 70 year history, PSI has developed and validated more than 1,800 unique assessments – all of our assessments are extensively supported, many of which by more than a hundred local criterion validation efforts. Our seven de-cades in the selection space have enabled us to thought-fully refine this content, optimizing their predictive ability vis-à-vis the job related characteristics they are designed to measure.
