Tajikistan: SDG Integration to the

national level

The Republic of Tajikistan is in the Central Asia, with more than 93% of the territory covered bymountains. The population of the country is 9 million. Tajikistan is ranked 85th as per its territory andhas abundant hydropower and freshwater resources, and varied natural resources, as well as favorableconditions for growing organic food products. In addition to that Tajikistan is full of opportunities foreco-tourism, which is in line with the fundamental principles of human development in the context ofaccess to natural resources.
