Developed a state of the art skills and aptitude testing process for software development and UI/UX Design candidates that effectively allowed us to separate the ideal talent from those that might not be a good fit for our needs. The biggest benefit of this process was the reduction of spam candidates on average from about a 100 to Top 10 or in some cases Top 5, saving us 100 of hours of Resume reviewing and profile checks. We even developed mechanisms for remote monitoring, time tracking, and screen capturing to proctor the test from anywhere in the world. This method was so effective that we helped our clients implement in their organizations as well.

We notice that new graduates on average would take at least 6 months of on the job training to be able to manage a project on their own from inception to delivery. The current solution for this in the industry was to look for candidates with ayear or two of experience. However, the greatest benefit of bringing in a new graduate is that you can teach them your culture, your methods and mold their software development mind into an ideal fit for your company's needs. To take advantage of this amazing talent pool I created custom software boot camps that all new candidates would go through. In 12 weeks, we can take an entry-level candidate and bring them up to speed and at the same level as a candidate who has over 2 years experience. Our candidates are generally so highly qualified that they are a prime target for poaching by our competition. Here is a quote that is ingrained into our philosophy about helping our talent.

This has helped us keep a retention rate of over 95% over the years at Web N App.

Cultivated partnerships with clients inclusive of JPL, NatGeo, Apple, Turkish Airlines, and Saudi Investment bank to provide them with applications and web development.Created a skills enhancement program for our talent to encourage R&D and contributions to evolving technologies including AI, Machine Learning, Robotics and Blockchain. Swift CI Optimizations with Data Analysis.

Identified areas to optimize within the Swift continuous integration (CI) infrastructure by collecting and analyzing data provided by the CI.

Wrote a Python script to scrape and store metadata. The metadata was scraped from Jenkins (scheduling agent) and stored in a shared file system (NFS).

Wrote a Python script to parse relevant data from files within the NFS and push this data to a Postgres database. Note that these files were spread across the file system in various formats (i.e. xml, junit, logs etc.).

Wrote SQL queries to find data of interest for further analysis.

Created visual representations of the queried data. This helped the team draw conclusions about where to focus resources and/or restructure tests (to be parallelized).

Made optimizations to the scripts and the database forfaster data retrieval.
