Phileas Flash - Unleash Your Creativity (Repeated in the afternoon) Join Phileas in a class that is all about looking at things differently. Using a very simple shape as a starting point, he will demonstrate how to create a multitude of amazing real world designs that will truly WOW your clients. You will be surprised and delighted with the variety of patterns he teaches you (from animals to Sci-Fi) that all begin exactly the same and look so different. But this class isn’t about teaching you designs, it is about unlocking your creativity, so it culminates with a light-hearted contest where you will make your own jammed creation and maybe even win a prize. Small sculptures and jamming techniques, suitable for intermediate to advanced twisters.
Nifty Nicole, CBA and Jeff Hayes - Story Time Party Photo Frames (Repeated in the afternoon) Are there just some characters from some of your favourite stories that you would love to learn to create?? If so … then Storytime with Nifty Nicole and Seriously Twisted!!! Jeff Hayes is the class you want. In this class we are going to create designs to completely theme a party, from wristables, tiaras to larger designs and centrepieces, and of course the party stopping photo frame. Whether you are a twister, deco twister or a decorator, Nicole will make these designs quick, easy and effective, bringing your designs to the next level and up selling that event – “Did you want a photo frame with that party package?”
Chris Adamo, CBA - Design, Inflate, Create (Repeated in the afternoon) Ever wanted to design and build a three dimensional balloon building? Of course you have! Join Chris as he goes through a simple design process that is easy. Easy to conceptualise, easy to pitch to a client and even easier to build. Once designed we will break into groups and build our creations.

David and Shana Brenion – Balloon Performance Class (Repeated in the afternoon) A balloon show is more than just great balloons. To entertain an audience, you must make them care about YOU first, and then they will care about your balloons. In this class, David will teach you to build a show from the simplest ideas, focusing on how to use balloons to connect with an audience. The skills you will learn have been refined by David on the stage over many years, including how to create a routine, how to tie multiple routines together to create a show and, most importantly, how to make any audience laugh! Oh, and you will ALSO learn some great balloon sculptures! Keith Stirman, CBA and Dominic Cassidy, CBA - The Retail Showdown
This class with the Balloon Brothers is a fun-filled action-packed 120 minutes that will get YOU thinking about how to identify customer groups, develop a variety of price points, create and showcase top-selling designs, use award-winning sales techniques, and – most importantly – how to price your work! While this class is mostly based on theories and principles that will make your retail business a success, you’ll also see a variety of designs that work with all these key points, and you’ll participate in a game show setting that keeps the pace moving and knowledge flowing! Décor to Go: Sick of being a delivery driver? Want to spend more time in your store making more balloons? Join Dom and Keith as they share with you their ideas on Décor to Go! You’ll walk out of this class with a complete range of best-selling, quick, easy, and highly profitable designs that your customers will love.

Directly after each class, the teachers will be available and accessible in the Jam Room for any questions about what
you’ve just learned. AND for the first time in OzJam history, we’re making teaching slots available for our fabulous
delegates, THAT’S YOU GUYS! Do you have a design you wish to teach, or a new technique you are simply dying to
share with the world? Here’s your chance to show off your teaching chops! We have limited volunteer positions
available, simply by registering your name on the whiteboard posted in the Jam Room.
We are strongest together, so let’s share the love, share the knowledge and share our art Form!
RENEGADES
Monday! Monday! Monday! Buckle in for the hilarious experience that will be OzJam’s first ever
Renegades show, hosted by Nifty Nicole and, the father of Australian Twisting, Jeff Hayes!
For those unfamiliar, a Renegade show is a no-holds barred variety show assembled BY the
delegates, FOR the delegates.
Are you a juggler? Magician? Ventriloquist? Comedian? Clown? Do you have a routine you love
to perform while twisting balloons? Are you building in a bit that needs an audience? Want to
do an ad-lib sketch with your friends? Or maybe you can just pressure a friend onto the stage
for the laughs!
19
This is your opportunity to share the stage with our international performers, as well as maybe discover a few new ones!
The rules – acts must not be longer than 10 minutes (you will be gonged) and that’s IT. Simply register your spot on the whiteboard in the Jam Room
anytime before the Renegades start.
Let’s put on a show, get a laugh,
and maybe discover some hidden talent!
AFTER DARK GAMES
Leave your shame at the door, and gear up for
the cheeky bar room fun of the After Dark
Games.
These are the competitions that you won’t see in the Jam Room …. Enough to give you the vapours, the heebie jeebies AND the collywobbles! Discretion
is needed, even when writing this description, but let’s just say that Pippity-Pop and Matt Falloon are planning an evening guaranteed to make you
cringe, grimace and laugh until a little bit of wee comes out!
