Term 2 Konnichiwa Minasan! Hello everyone! Welcome to another term learning Japanese with St Emilie’s students. This term we are really going to focus on the verbal language, with the children trying out their new Japanese accent on our topic of pets and school. We are becoming more confident writing and reading our Hiragana characters and the students are really getting the knack of the new alphabet when practising their writing as well as recognising them in games and written tasks. In this terms 3 ways, the students will have samples of their work as well as the opportunity to show off their learning to their teachers as well as their families. Learning to speak confidently is the first part of becoming a great language learner.
