Introduction to science of Volleyball

*one reason why I chose this topic is because I enjoy playing volleyball.

*another reason is because it is a very thrilling and fun sport.

Page 3: T he Science Of Volleyball

Potential Energy*Potential energy is when a volley ball player is about to hit the ball but does not hit it really

Page 4: T he Science Of Volleyball

Kinetic Energy

*Kinetic energy is when a volley ball player hits the ball .

Page 5: T he Science Of Volleyball

Digestive System*Digestive System gives our body energy and it breaks down our food.It helps volleyball players by making them stronger and exsersize more.

Page 6: T he Science Of Volleyball

Respiratory System*The respiratory system uses energy to clean incoming air.gets oxygen into your body and remove carbon dioxide. Volley ball players nee healthy lungs so they can breath easly even when they are playing hared.

Page 7: T he Science Of Volleyball

Circulatory System*The circulatory system needs energy to pump the blood throughout the body.Volley ball players need a strong heart so they can exercise hard and often. The circularity system makes sure all of the athlrtes cells are getting enouth oxygen.

Page 8: T he Science Of Volleyball

Excretory System*The excretory system uses energy to release water.heat and salt from the body which creates sweat.energy is needed to keep this system working.Volley ball players need to excretory system to sweat and cool off there bodies.

Page 9: T he Science Of Volleyball

Muscular System*The muscular system uses energy to make our body move.It uses mechanical energy contract our body move.Volley ball players need strong muscles to move their legs so they can move more and streach more and their arms so they can hit the ball hard.

Page 10: T he Science Of Volleyball

Electric Energy*Electric Energy Continuous flow of electric charge in the closed circuits with good conductors, such as metal. It helps volley ball players by like when they play at night the have light so they can see where they hit.

Energy Transformation

*Energy Transformation is when you wake up in the morning and your going to play u have to get up and eat something first like a good healthy breakfast so your body can get active.energy transformation helps volley ball players by helping them stay healthy and in shape.

Conserving EnergyConserving energy means to save energy conserving energy effects volley ballplayers by helpin them save there energy so they can play in the game.

Newton’s 1st Law of Motion

* Newton’s 1st law of Nemotion aka inertia-an object at rest will stay at rest, and an object in motion will stay in motion unless acted upon an unbalanced force.

*Newton’s 1st law of motion affects volley ball by hitting the ball with force and forcing the ball to go more faster and higher.

Page 14: T he Science Of Volleyball

Newton’s 2nd Law of Motion

*law: f=ma * The more force, the faster(more accelration)it goes.*The more mass, the more force it has to move something.

*2nd law of motion effects my sport by helping the ball goe more faster when the players hit the ball.*more force helps the ball to goe more faster.

Newton’s 3rd Law of Motion

* Newtons 3rd law:”for every acion, there is an equal and oppisite reaction”. The amount of force they pull there arm back the amount of force the ball gose forwardes.law helps us stay on the ground because the amount of foce we have in our body.

ConclusionScience is realated to my sport by helping the volley ball players win by the force andsaving enrgy, newton’e 2nd 3rd and 1st law ect…
