FRIDAY, JUNE 8 Registration 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. International Association of Fire Fighters FIRE OPS 101 Event 7:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Video from the 2017 USCM FIRE OPS 101 Event Miami, Florida Mayors and their staff attending the 86th Annual Conference of Mayors are invited to participate and learn what their Firefighters and Paramedics do every day protecting communities across the United States. The scenarios will include Live Fire, Search and Rescue, Vehicle Extrication, Cardiac Arrest Response and Beach/Surf Rescue. This opportunity is being organized by the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF), Boston Fire Fighters Local 718 and the Boston Fire Department. Mayors and staff may participate in one or more of the following timeslots: ● 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. ● 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. ● 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. ● 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. This event is for mayors and their staff only and space is limited. Please register in advance using the IAFF event website which provides details of the event and an easy online registration form. (Transportation: Boston Fire Department vans will be available to shuttle participating mayors and city staff to and from the Marriott Copley Square.)
