Interstage and final separators have aunique maintenance free insertinstalled to prevent moisture and oilfrom contaminating the compressedair.

Oversized stainless steel intercoolersand aftercooler provide excellent pro-tection against corrosion and improvethermal stability which reduces thepossibility of developing leaks at con-nection points. Our coolers are strate-gically mounted so that all surfaces areexposed to the cooling air fan blastassuring superior heat dissipation. Noauxiliary cooling fans are required.

Three and four stage compressorsspecifically designed for continuousduty 5000 and 6000 psig applicationswith no cool down cycle requirements.

Unique five stage compressordesigned for the rigors of 7000 psigcontinuous duty service offering con-siderably less compression ratios perstage.

An oil sight glass and inexpensive, eas-ily replaceable oil filter are standard onall models.

Low pressure lubrication system, geardriven by the crankshaft, pumps fil-tered oil to the final stage of compres-sion.

Single acting, free floating aluminumfinal stage piston with multiplepolymide rings and machined oilreturn ports assure proper lubrication,reduce noise levels, reduce liner wear,limit blow-by oil consumption and car-bon build up.

High strength, heat resistant polymiderings are a more pliable material thansteel or iron minimizing ring breakage,easing installation and removal andincreasing life expectancy.

Innovative cooling fan designs thatreduce noise levels while producingincreased cooling air flow across thecompressor.

Heavy duty drive gear with 30,000hour life expectancy. A durable forgedsteel crankshaft supports high strengthaluminum alloy connecting rods. Forreduced friction and maximummechanical efficiency each connectingrod has a roller bearing at the crank-shaft end and a needle bearing at thepin end. The drive gear is supported inthe crankcase with heavy duty ballbearings. The dynamically counterbal-anced crankshaft provides smooth,practically vibration free operation.

Valves are readily accessible for inspec-tion and maintenance. Maintenance isinexpensive and easy to complete. Thedesign guarantees optimum air flowand efficiency, thus maximizing valvelife - 2000 hours!

COMPRESSOR CONTROL PANELCCP includes magnetic motor starter,fused transformer and PLC controllerin a NEMA 4 electrical enclosure. TheCCP is affixed with a UL® label. Forease of maintenance and repair thePLC has removable terminal blocks forall functions and offers EEPROM capa-bility.

HUMAN MACHINE INTERFACEHMI with a four-line backlit or multi-color touch screen display will detail allsafety/fault shutdowns with scrollingtext of up to three potential causes.Standardized wiring harnesses are builtas sub-assemblies for uniformity acrossproduct lines. Wiring is color codedand encapsulated within a split corru-gated type loom. Each wire end con-nection is machine crimped and num-bered. Plug and play sealed electricalconnections.

OIL AND FINAL AIR PRESSUREThey are monitored by pressure sen-sors and transmitted to the HMI fordigital display offering accuracy, con-sistency and reliability. The pressuresensors have adjustable set point anddead-band thru the HMI (passwordprotected). Stainless steel high pres-sure tubing sets us apart from thoserelying on less expensive hose. Skilledlabor and CNC tube bending ensureuniformity.

AUTOMATIC CONDENSATEDRAINThe highly engineered, yet mainte-nance friendly ACD and reservoir sys-tem with high liquid level indicationsystem to alert the operator via theHMI. Manually operated drain valvesare supplied to override the automaticoperation of the ACD system for testand maintenance purposes.

CONTAINMENT FILL STATIONSBAUER CFS II is the safest and easiestto use in the industry. With anergonomically designed fill stationdoor, only eighteen pounds of effort isneeded to open or close, thereby elim-inating operator fatigue. AUTO CASCADEThe automatic cascade system utilizesour patent pending manifold blockwith integral valve bodies. Couple thiswith a commercially available PLC con-troller and you have the simplest cas-cade system – easy installation andeffortless operation.

CONTAINMENT FILL STATIONSBAUER offers only independently test-ed containment fill stations whichwere found to protect the operatorfrom overpressure and fragmentationper NFPA 1901. Formed plate steel andfewer weldments help maintain struc-tural integrity while at the same timereducing size and weight. Ourergonomic “Easy Load” door designallows the operator to open and closethe door with less than 18 lbs. of forcewithout hyper-extended hand andwrist movements.

AIR STORAGEBAUER high pressure air storage sys-tems meet the code requirements ofeither the Department ofTransportation or the American Societyof Mechanical Engineers. DOT andASME storage cylinders and storagesystems are offered for 5000 and 6000psig applications. Optional mountingracks are available.

AIR PURIFICATIONBAUER air purification systems purifyhigh pressure air to a quality thatmeets or exceeds the requirements ofCGA Pamphlet G-7, Compressed Airfor Human Respiration, ANSI/CGA G-7.1, Commodity Specification for Air,Grade E, and all other recognized stan-dards for breathing air.

SECURUS IISECURUS II ensures maximum utiliza-tion of the air processing cartridgesbecause the moisture sensor is embed-ded directly in the molecular sieve. Thelast cartridge in the air processing sys-tem. SECURUS II is powered from thePLC control system and provides forautomatic warning and shutdownwhen the cartridges become saturat-ed. SECURUS II is available for workingpressures from 2000 – 6000 psig andflow rates to 125 scfm.
