Prerequisites
Courseassumesagoodworkingknowledgeoflinearalgebraanddifferentialequations.Newmaterialwillbecoveredindepthintheclass,butastrongbackgroundwillbenecessary.Solidbackgroundincontroldesignisbesttofullyunderstandthismaterial,butnotessential.CoursematerialandhomeworkassumeagoodworkingknowledgeofMATLAB.
Policies
Youareencouragedtodiscussthehomeworkandproblemsets.However,yoursubmittedworkmustbeyourown.LatehomeworkwillnotbeacceptedunlesspriorapprovalisobtainedfromProfessorHow.Gradeonalllatehomeworkwillbereduced25%perday.Nohomeworkwillbeacceptedforcreditafterthesolutionshavebeenhandedout.
