Course description The course on Introductory Economics is divided into two parts.
Part A, microeconomics, consists of 4 units wherein we introduce the study of
behavior of small units and their interactions and the subjects which fall in
their purview. Part B consists of 5 units, which deals in macroeconomics. Here
we clearly bring out the revolution in economic theory brought out by J .M
Keynes. The causes of the problems facing Indian economy have been analysed
in theoretical framework.
