Luke 5:12 Jesus came to a town where there was a man who had leprosy. When the man saw Jesus, he knelt down to the

ground in front of Jesus and begged, “Lord, you have the power to make me

well, if only you wanted to.”

13 Jesus put his hand on him and said, “I want to! Now you are well.” At once the man’s leprosy disappeared. (CEV)

What does God want?

Hope is a powerful emotion. Psychiatrist David Burns: Hope

is the most powerful anti-depressant.Jesus inspired hope.

Hope seeks love, empowers faith.

Luke 8:41 And there came a man named Jairus, who was a ruler of the synagogue; and falling at Jesus' feet he besought him to come to his house, 42 for he had an only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she was dying. As he went, the people pressed round him.

The Problem: Feelings Get

Overwhelmed

SHRINK THE CHANGE. Break down the change until it no longer spooks the Elephant.
