Google Calendar Do you have the google calendar app? Keep up to date by adding google calendar to your phone. State Election Day BBQ & Cake Stall – 23 March Not long to go now! Just a reminder to everyone to please drop off your donations for the BBQ (drinks, sauces, serviettes, paper plates and freezer bags) in the blue tubs we have in each classroom. Volunteers for manning the BBQ and Cake Stall will need to fill in the slip provided to the students and indicate when you can volunteer your time between (8am-4pm) so a roster can be arranged. We need donations of cakes, biscuits, muffins, lolly bags, etc. for our cake stall. Please bring things packaged ready for sale. This can either be as a whole cake or individually wrapped (e.g. banana bread or cake sliced and wrapped in glad wrap or biscuits in cellophane bags). These can be delivered to the school at the canteen on the Friday afternoon beforehand or on the morning of the election before 8am. Thanks everyone for your support in this fundraiser! Zone Carnival Good luck to our 23 students who are competing in the Zone Swimming Carnival this Thursday at Engadine Pool. Sun Shade Area Although the project has taken longer than anticipated the wait has certainly been worth it. The new play area in the K-2 playground will re-open this week on Wednesday 6 March! You are welcome to pop down on Thursday afternoon from 3.00 - 3.30pm to have a look. Parent/Teacher Interviews Online Bookings Parent/Teacher interviews will be held from Monday 25 March to Thursday 4 April at various times of the day, depending on the availability of teachers. Bookings will open on Thursday 7 March at 8.00am and close on Friday 22 March at 4.00pm. A note with additional information will be sent home this today.

On Wednesday February 20th, Sutherland North Public School had their Annual Swimming Carnival at Sutherland Leisure Centre. Although the day was overcast, the students had a fantastic time competing in all the events, especially the novelty

races. The day was a huge success with 23 students qualifying for the Sutherland Zone Swimming Carnival. We would like to wish all these students the best of luck.

The day couldn’t be run without the support of all the teachers, Mr Symes and Miss Maloy. Thank you. A special thanks goes to Kaya, Noah, Phoebe and Daniella from The Jannali High School who gave up their time to help on the day. Also thanks to SLC Aquadot Swim Club for loaning us their starting system on the day.

Dear Parents/Guardians, Your child will be attending a Sport and Recreation school camp at Berry Sport and Recreation Centre organised through Sutherland North Public School on Monday 8 April to Wednesday 10 April, 2019. Prior to the camp Berry Sport and Recreation Centre expect a Medical and Consent Form to be submitted for every student. The information that Sport and Recreation needs about your child includes:

• medical conditions • food related allergies • special diets • medication • emergency contact details • media consent

Sport and Recreation needs you to complete this form on behalf of your child. The form is available online and is easy to complete. Once you submit the form it is sent directly to the centre so the staff can prepare for your child's visit. SNPS P&C State Government Election Day

BBQ & Cake Stall SATURDAY 23 MARCH 2019 8AM – 4PM

We are seeking your helping hand in three ways:

1. Volunteer for the BBQ or cake stall

If you can assist for 2 hours on the BBQ or cake stall please complete the attached form and return to your child's class teacher by the 15th March 2019.

There are many sporting activities happening on this day so if every family can help out for one time slot it makes it easier and fairer for everyone.

2. Make or buy cakes for the Cake Stall

We need donations of cakes, biscuits, muffins, slices etc. for our cake stall. Please bring things individually wrapped ready for sale. These can either be delivered to the school between 2.30-3.30pm on Friday 22/3/19 or on the morning of the election.

3. Donate items for the BBQ

We need donations of items for the BBQ such as cans of soft drink, bottles of water, serviettes, sauces, disposable gloves, spray oil, foil trays and paper towel.

These can be brought into the classrooms and placed into the blue tubs anytime leading up to the BBQ.

The school is keen to purchase more robotic kits (including a set of Blue-Bots) so the more money we are able to raise the better equipment our children will have.
