Influencing industry towards sustainable wood trade
� Several conferences workshops , consultative meeting and training had been organized within Kerala, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh on responsible and sustainable trade of forest products.
� Round table conferences and business to business meeting were organized to support responsible forestry through forest and trade network.
� Support establishment of FSC National Initiative in India, to promotes Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification for timber, pulp and paper and encourages companies, including retailers and traders to produce and consume FSC Certified products.
� Created awareness on “credible forest certification” and the benefits to the key stake holders.
