This question allowed me to find out the most popular bands and artists from my group of 16-19 year olds who answered my survey, the most popular band was Skindred who are a band with a new kind of music which fuses reggae, rock and drum n bass. My chosen genre for my music magazine is Drum n bass which slightly links with the favourite band from the survey.

Facebook was the most common answer for this question with Youtube being the most. Facebook is a large social networking site and Youtube allows users to watch videos online.

These replies show the most common games console used by 16-19 year olds. The XBOX 360 came out on top and is probably the most hardcore games console, this shows what the 16-19 year old group want from games and experiences. This is why I chose this question.

I chose this question because it allows me to see where people get their music from, most was illegally downloaded through limewire. This helped me as it gave me an overview of the 16-19 year old music scene.

The main shops that 16-19 year olds used are displayed in this pie graph. The top shop was Topshop/ Topman, these shops are of quality clothes at reasonable prices.

This question shows me the different magazines bought, if any by 16 – 19 year olds. The most common was music magazines which was a good result as this is the type of magazine I am going to be designing and producing!

Nike trainers were the most popular answer for this question. Nike offer a wide range of styles and designs for trainers and this would be a key factor as to why people buy them. They are also a big brand of clothing and shows status.

I chose this question because I wanted to see how many 16-19 year olds actually get involved in the music they listen to further than just listening to it through a music player. I found out that most do attend gigs and events.
