Students Over the Age of 18

Students between the ages of 18 and 21 who have been declared incompetent in court are assigned a surrogate parent who has all the rights and responsibilities of any surrogate parent.

For students who have not been declared incompetent, the services of a surrogate parent “advisor” can be offered to assist the student in making decisions. All decisions rest with the student and the student is in control of all his/her educational records.
