54th Meeting of

European Trade Promotion Organisations (ETPO)

18-20th September, 2013 | Vienna, Austria

www.europe-tpo.com

WElcomE to thE 54th Etpo confEREncE in ViEnna! Europe faces challenging times: Anaemic economic growth, high-un-employment, EURO-scepticism and high public and private sector debt have an impact not only on our client companies but also on TPOs. Growing

competition in international markets, changing trade patterns and trade routes are further challenges we have to cope with. However, we know that exporting companies are more likely to stay in business, pay above average wages, show faster employment growth and exhibit greater productivity than companies that are not marketing their products abroad. It is up to us to create an appetite for exports and to pave the way for our clients to venture successfully into new markets. This conference is the ideal plattform to exchange ideas, concepts and best practice examples of how to set up and position our TPOs in an effective and efficient way within the framework of each and every country. While organising the conference, we have to put an emphasis on an interactive approach as we believe that learning means getting involved. AdvAnTAGE AUsTRIA is proud to host this event and bring together so many TPO-colleagues from all over Europe. Best Regards,Walter Korendirector GeneralAdvAnTAGE AUsTRIAAustrian Federal Economic Chamber

The 5th TPO network Awards were presented at the 9th TPO network World Conference, which took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in October 2012.The Awards recognize outstanding TPO management and business practice in export development initiatives.
