    Whether youd like to aim for paid or unpaid work, we have somecourses which can help to prepare you.

    City and Guilds Award in Employability and PersonalDevelopment.

    You can work towards this qualification and gain cafe experience at thesame time at MY Eco Cafe at Clifton Moor.

    Support Needs

    Some people are able to attend these courseswithout any learning support, and others needsome support.

    We can provide a learning support worker for you if needed, oryou can bring your own support if you prefer, or if you need helpwith personal care.

    If you attend these courses, you need to be able to take part inthe activities so that you can achieve a certificate at the end of

    the course.

    To make sure that the course is right for you, please check withAngela on 07833 402845 or come along toone of our enrolment events.

    If you think you might like to try one of the

    Adult and Community Education classesadvertised in the Learning 4 Life brochurebut feel you might need support to attend,please let us know.

    English and maths are FREE for everyone.

    There may be a course fee for some people onother courses or activities, so please get in touch to find out moreand ask any questions about our courses.

    SportAbility Multi Sports Session at The Melbourne Centre, Escrick St,Fishergate, York.

    Multi-Sports activities such as Boccia and New Age Kurling along with Wiisports games for adults with learning disabilities.

    DanceAbility sessions starting in September at The Melbourne Centre,Escrick Street, Fishergate, York.

    DanceAbility is a dance method accessible to all people. Classes focus

    on improvisation and creative movement to the latest cool tunes!
