SUPERTRAIN
SUPERTRAIN EXHIBITOR AND VOLUNTEER PARKING
We have come to the realization that no matter where we go,there will never be enough parking on site to accommodate everyone.
With attendance in past years exceeding 10,000 people over the course of two days, and average visits lasting far more than a couple hours, we’re finding parking for the public, exhibitors and volunteers to always be a challenge. As a result, here is our parking plan at the Genesis Centre:
For Friday:
You may park anywhere you can legally park. The North Lot of the High School is only available after 4pm.
For those in your group who are checking in with us (at the information desk in the Feature Gym, marked with the Red Star), we suggest parking in the north parking lot, located to the west of the trac lights at the south end of Saddletowne Circle NE.
Be sure to remove any vehicles from any of the red shaded Parking Lots at the end of the evening.
For Saturday and Sunday until 5pm:
You may park in areas shaded in green, in addition to the Parking Lot at the McKnight-Westwinds CTrain Station. We have obtained permission from Safeway to use the areas marked in green within their parking lot, parking on the streets shown and in Calgary Transit’s Park & Ride Lot at McKnight-Westwinds Station. See the reverse side for details about our free shuttle bus from there!
DO NOT PARK IN ANY AREAS SHADED RED.
Parking in any unshaded area is not recommended. (Exceptions: Trailers may be parked in the Safeway Parking lot areas marked in yellow. Vehicles displaying handicapped placards may park in the handicapped spaces. See the blue area.)
Every parking spot we have available for the public on the lot is more money for the exhibi-tors in the form of payouts, more paying cus-tomers for all the vendors, and more impres-sionable minds for all those with displays.
The CMRS Board & SUPERTRAIN Committee reserve the right to apply applicable penalties to those ignoring these rules.
Everyone working at the show is expected to follow these rules.
