Common Questions 1. Are there sports? Yes, students have the opportunity to compete at East Hartford Middle School and transportation is provided from Sunset to EHMS daily. 2. What are some differences between Sunset and other middle schools? Smaller learning environment with emphasis on IB integration. 3. Is there an extended day? No, there is not an extended day. School hours are from 8:00-2:45.

Common Questions 4. Are there after school clubs? Yes, we currently offer after school clubs two days a week with many types of activities. 5. What happens after 8 th grade? Students enter the lottery for the CT IB Academy located on EHHS campus. There are plans for alternate opportunities at EHHS for students who do not choose that path or do not get accepted into CIBA from the lottery.
