PGA TOUR Canada is a series of tournaments played across Canada each summer, with the leading five money winners at the end of each season earning highly placed status on the Web.com Tour for the following season. PGA TOUR stars such as Graham DeLaet, Mike Weir, Steve Stricker and more all made their start on PGA TOUR Canada. More than 175 PGA TOUR Canada alumni have made their way to the PGA TOUR, accounting for 110 victories and nearly $500 million in career earnings.

With a mix of classic, established tournaments and exciting new ones, PGA TOUR Canada will play 12 events with $150,000 purses in 2014 from Vancouver, British Columbia to Sydney, Nova Scotia before culminating at the TOUR Championship of Canada presented by Freedom 55 Financial in London, Ontario.

OVERVIEWThe TOUR Championship of Canada presented by Freedom 55 Financial is the flagship tournament on the PGA TOUR Canada schedule. It will be a showcase of the top golfers on the TOUR and will serve as the distribution grounds for awarding Web.com Tour cards to the top five PGA TOUR Canada players.

SUNNINGDALE GOLF & COUNTRY CLUBWith a rich 80-year tradition, Sunningdale Golf & Country Club in London, Ontario has been secured to host the TOUR Championship of Canada. A 36-hole facility boasting two classic course designs, the championship will be contested on a hybrid layout of both the Thompson and Robinson courses, providing an outstanding venue in which to finish the PGA TOUR Canada season.

Many exciting competitions have been hosted by the club including; the first Ontario Championships in 1937, the Canadian Ladies Championship, the LPGA’s Supertest Classics, the Canadian Junior Girls Championship, the Canadian Junior Boys Championship, the Ontario Championships, plus many more.
