ACTIVITIES THIS WEEK
St. James presents: SPOTLIGHT ON ROME NOVEMBER 3 - 9, 2015
YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO GO TO ROME!
Day 3 - November 5, 2015 This morning after breakfast, you will come to know the history and traditions of ancient Rome on a locally-guided tour. Take a walk through time at the Roman Forum, a former marketplace and main center of ancient Roman life. Imagine the energy of 80,000 spectators cheering during a visit to the Colosseum, once home to gladiatorial combat and wild animal fights dating back to the 1st cen-tury A.D. Spend time reflecting on the life of an emperor during a visit to Palatino Hill, the location of ruins of many former palaces. The remainder of the day is yours to ex-plore as you wish.
Keep watching the bulletin for more info on
this once in a lifetime trip.

Adult and Family Faith Formation Preparing for the World Meeting of Families with
Pope Francis This week, we continue our reflection on one of the ten themes from the Love Is Our Mission preparatory text for this event to help deepen your understanding of the Church’s teachings on the family. Two Become One: The Sacrament of Marriage unites man and woman together as one flesh. Strong marriages are built upon the cardinal and theological virtues, especially those of mercy and chastity. Reflect and Act: How do we hold up marriage as an example of God’s love for his people?
