For each article you deposit CHF 100.00. Ravensburger toy library Games for all ages can be taken out with a deposit of CHF 20.00 for each item. The games are sure to make rainy days pass quickly. Themed paths NEW Ravensburger play path Discover the hiking area around Grächen through play. Seven new play stations and six play huts with new games await families on the Ravensburger play path from summer 2021. Equipped with a games backpack containing various auxiliary material for solving the puz- zles and games, the various routes with different levels of difficulty can be tackled. This is how it works: For a deposit, you can get this player backpack with game figures, game passport and instructions at the Tourist Of- fice. You get the game pass in the form of a brochure. At each game hut and station, you have to solve the riddle on the corresponding page in the game pass and fill in the missing letters. In the back of the booklet, the games pass contains a page on which the solution set, which is made up of the previously solved puzzle, can be entered. If this page is handed in at the Tourist Office, a small surprise awaits the children. In addition, they will be entered into a prize draw at the end of the season. You can find all the details in the games pass. Price CHF 7.00 Playgrounds SiSu family park with petting zoo As soon as the «fairy tale» gondola cable car drops you at the Han- nigalp, the Grächen SiSu is there to welcome you to the SiSu family park. Here you’ll find a world of fun activities with water features, climbing area and a giant spider’s web – just like in the park’s own fairytale book entitled «SiSu findet SuLa». The highlight of the SiSu family park is the summer tube slide where you and your children can slide helter-skelter downhill through a tunnel in a large tyre. It’s a bit slower paced in the petting zoo where the animals just love being stroked and petted. Robis leisure park with mini golf and children’s rope park The forest play park is located above the sports centre. The area with its slides, little houses and caves covers more than 2000 m2. Here you can climb in the rope park, play mini-golf or watch animals. The physical well-being is also taken care of. In the kiosk you can get chips, chicken nuggets, drinks, ice cream and sweets as well as home-made cakes. Ask for some dry wood and grill your own food at one of the beautifully situated barbecue sites. The rope park takes children and adults from tree to tree at dizzy heights over ropes, nets and wooden steps. There are also some zip lines and the Ninja Park. The squirrel course is suitable for children as young as 4 years old. The higher routes will make even the adults sweat. Kalpetran – Embd – Schalb adventure cable car

The Kalpetran – Embd cable car runs from Kalpetran (896 m above sea level) to the idyllic mountain village of Embd (1358 m above sea level). From there, the Embd – Schalb adventure cable car takes just a few minutes to reach the Alpine foothill of Schalb at an altitude of 1900 m. Here you can enjoy a stunning view of Grä-chen and the surrounding mountains. The foothill stands on the Jungen – Moosalpe high-altitude trail and on the path over the Augstbord Pass into the Turtmanntal valley. The „Gogwärgji- treasure hunt“, popular with children, begins from the Schalb. Take a free treasure map with you in Embd, find Gogwärgji‘s treasure and receive a reward. The local museum is home to old craft, agriculture and household items from our St. Niklaus ancestors. Grächen local museum

The small museum deals with the history as well as the present of our village. Here you can marvel at exhibits from the Celtic period, as well as life in a mountain village in those days. The exhibition "Magic Water" is dedicated to the centuries-old tradition and ne-cessity of irrigation, which is still used today and NEW can even be "heard". Another exhibition is dedicated to the life and work of the famous Grächner Thomas Platter. One of Switzerland's best-known humanists.

Summer season start with Harley meeting and opening of the

Bikeregion Grächen – Visp

The Upper Valais, and not least the re-gion around Grächen and Visp, is an in-sider tip in the mountainbike scene. With the homologation of an additional 240 km of trail, a network of 310 km total length now extends in this area. The variety of op-tions is impressive: from family loops, enduro trails with downhill sections to multi-day tours suitable for mass sports, a comple-te programme is available. Grächen is the start and finish point for the sixth edition of Ultra Tour Monte Rosa (UTMR), a magnificent ultramarathon around the Monte-Rosa massif. Three different categories are availa-ble, the (nonstop) Ultra Tour and the 4 Stage Race start in Grä-chen and circle the massif in 170 km, the third 100 km rou-te starts in Gressoney, Italy. The start for the second Grächen Berglauf is at 10h00 am. Run 23 km on the soft, level paths next to the water pipes, through the fragrant forest, then on magnificent alpine trails towards the Riedgletscher. You be rewarded with incredible views of the mountains and glaciers. After reaching the finish line, enjoy the festival atmosphere of the big UTMR event. Hike to the Charles Kuonen suspension bridge on the "Euro-

paweg" above Randa

Visit the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the Alps. The cros-sing of the bridge is part of the "Europaweg", which you can start in Grächen. The bridge measures 494 m and spans up to a height of 85 m over the "Grabengufer" in the Mattertal. Experience the tingling feeling during the crossing and enjoy the fantastic mountain panorama.

On the flowtrail from Hannigalp down to Grächen, all bikers get their kicks. The 5 km track promises riding fun for families and beginners as well as for experienced bikers. New awesome jumps and other exciting elements can be discovered on every descent. The track begins at 2150 m ASL and the finish is at 1700 m. The fairytale gon-dola takes you back to the start again in comfort.
