SUMMER COURTThis collection takes historical damask and jacquard weaves from the zoffany archive and transforms them into richly contemporary designs woven and embroidered on a range of qualities. The result is a sumptuous mix of silk, linen, velvet and Trevira cs in a subtle colour palette.

POESY WALLPAPERSThe papers in this collection were reproduced or adapted from zoffany’s rare collection of 17th and 18th century domino papers.

C YMBELINE VELVE TSwhilst contemporary in style, the two abstract velvet designs in this collection are based on archive reference and are coloured in subtle shades which complement the poesy wallpapers and summer courT damasks.

GOSSAMER (left & right) This design is based on the wallpaper of the same name and is adapted in a larger scale from zoffany’s classic brocaTello. linen, viscose & silk yarns give lustre and texture to this fabric.

FLORAL SCROLL (right) is a modern interpretation of a mid 18th century documentary paper.

OCELOT VELVET (left) is a timeless design which works well in both contemporary and classic interiors.

ESME (right) This delicate leaf and daisy flower lattice was a popular design in northern europe, in the18th century.

VELLUM (right) The original paper for this design dates from the early 18th century and shows the revolutionary technique of paper making using very fine sieves. This refined technique has been translated to make a delicate striped wallpaper.

LUCIANA (far right) This contemporary silk taffeta stripe is enhanced with stripes of silk velvet.

OC TAVIA (far right) is woven in Trevira cs with fine contour lines defining the shape of the classic damask motif.
