SUMMER 2020
LOMIK @
• LOMIK LOMIK camps offer week long resident camp experiences where relationship to God and one another are
explored at one of our three amazing sites. We believe that the outdoor setting of God’s creation offers
unique ways to grow in faith, hope, and independence. Campers experience a wide variety of activities in
small and large groups. Games, hiking, swimming, devotions and worship, campfires, music; all play a part
in the exciting fun of a week at camp. Camp grows faith.
• Special Events

A scholarship-provided camp experience with a focus on improving reading skills. Each morning is set aside
for individualized learning tailored to each camper’s school test scores led by volunteer public school
teachers who love to teach. The rest of the day is filled with fun camp activities. Contact Cleo Swager at
[email protected] or (260) 306-3038 about reading-level requirements and teacher referral.

GRANDPARENT CAMP
A Sunday afternoon through Wednesday morning camp week for grandparents alongside their young campers
(Pilgrims, grades 1-3, Kids register separately as Pilgrims). Our college-aged staff run the program.

grandchildren and attend meals and camp activities with them as they desire. Adults stay in comfortable
retreat accommodations at the Bear Creek Village cottages. $145. LUTHERAN HILLS–June 28-July 1
This premier weekend of the summer is a celebration for families, churches and youth groups, and former
summer camp staffers. Come for a weekend full of games, campfire, music, swimming, worship opportunities
and other fun camp activities. It begins at 7:00 pm Friday night and runs through the Sunday worship and
BBQ. Come for a day or stay at Lake Luther’s Campground which offers both electric and non-electric
campsites. The weekend program is free with meals provided at $5 per person/per meal. Check
www.lakeluther.org for the complete schedule closer to the event.
This annual Sunday summer gathering of all “friends of the camp” begins with outdoor worship at 10:30 am
followed by the BBQ served from 11:30-1:00 pm. Funds raised go to camp property improvements.
