Grow your astrology skills this summer

Who should attend? Participants should have a basic understanding of signs, planets, houses, and aspects, and be familiar with the various glyphs commonly used. How many will attend? Enrollment will be limited to make the experience more personalized. What is the cost, and how do I register? The fee is $50 including GST. Register online using a credit card or PayPal at vancouverastrology.com. If spaces remain on July 26, 2014 cash only will be accepted at the door. Can I register for half a day? The cost remains the same whether you attend the full day or only a portion. What if I have to cancel? For cancellations up to July 20, payment will be refunded less a $7.50 admin fee. Strictly no refunds after July 20. Is lunch provided? How about coffee or snacks? Food is not provided. However, there are many places to buy food and coffee/tea on the main floor of the library building. You may take drinks into the workshop room but no food.

Morning session 10:30am – 12:30pm with Alison Price

ESSENTIAL DIGNITIES AND THE DISPOSITOR TREE In every chart there are stand-out planets and background planets. Come along and discover the important planets in your chart. In this workshop you will find out how to use the ancient technique of essential dignities. Take your knowledge

one step further and construct your dispositor tree. Learn about the five dispositor trees and what each tree means. Find any gateway planets and understand how the energy flows within your chart. This workshop will provide you with interpretation skills you can use right now in your readings. Handouts are provided. Please bring along your chart.

Lunch break 12:30pm – 2:00pm

Afternoon session 2:00pm – 4:00pm with Thomas McPherson

DISCOVERING FUNDAMENTAL CHART THEMES All too often when seeing a natal chart for the first time, we get lost in the many details and never really hear what the chart has to say. Using a straightforward method, Thomas will guide you through a process allowing chart themes to surface in

relatively short order. Once these themes are in place, we will apply simple tools to reveal factors which support and modify the chart's central story. Learn how to silence the noise and listen once again to the voice of your chart.
