    INDIAS World Heritage Sites:-

    India has a rich architectural legacy dating to an

    efficient past. Timeless monuments, magnificenttemples and breathtaking sites. India never cease totrue the travelers. Of lots prestigious monuments andnatural wonders, 16 cultural and 5 natural sites of Indiahave already been declared world heritage sites byUNESCO.

    Some steps taken by the ministry of Tourism in India topromote and protect the tourism destination are :-

    1. Tajmahal is being restored to its natural beauty.2. In Ahemdabad, efforts are being made by the local

    govt. to clean the polluted Sabermati River.3. Now in India ministry of tourism has introduce the

    special tourist security police in Delhi and othermain destination for giving information andprotection to foreign tourists. And in India, somegovt. tourism organization are protecting heritage

    building and monuments and they arereconstructing the destroyed building India govt.provide the tourist info. Center at destination and at

    airport and other major places

    Archeological Survey of India (A.S.I) hasidentified many monuments of world heritagestatus and efforts are being made to conserve,reconstructed and protected them.

    Now the ministry of tourism in India hasintroduced a programme which is called ATITHIDEVO BHAVA in India. The members of thisorganization are taking care of the foreign tourist at

    the airport and at destination. The foreign touristfeels comfortable with them as they get rightinformation about the place. I think that it is verygood step introduced by the Indian govt. it will besurely help us to increase tourism potential.

    We seeking a regular degree in tourism management sowe have not too much time to get practical knowledge.By the help of this kind of report and training schedule

    I got an opportunity to work with one of the Youngleading Tour Operator. I was sent to theBeachComber Tours, Delhi for training to have goodknowledge about Tourism. There I have learned manythings to increase my experience and exposures. I gavemy best effort to learn the travel components. I

    experienced a lot during my training.This kind of training program really helps a tourismstudent to achieve perfection in tourism industry inevery aspect. During my training the most usefulexperience I have learned are as follow:

    I came to know about the practical aspects oftourism industry by which a tourism studentcannot know to be useless. He can visit such a kindof training programmed during tenure of his studyof course. I have learned such kind of things whichhelps me to be a travel professional in the market.

    I use to learn about the working area ofmanagement such as; where it has to bind hislimits, when it has to take crucial decisionregarding business, what kind of guidance needed

    I also experience some negative aspects during my trainisuch as- proper guidance, lack of willingness in personnof company to give knowledge of company products to ttrainee. But there is perception that every thing has

    negative and positive aspects. So, finally the positive aspeof our training program good enough to hide weak spotstraining.

    PROBLEMS

    I am very to glad to work with the Travel Pals because the

    informal attitude of personnel in the company. But as it isyoung company so sometimes they fail to give adequatetime to us and there I also have faced some problems

    which are as under:

    Poor Scheduling for Trainee :

    In the company there is lack of proper time table or youcan say the company makes no proper schedule for thetrainee came to them for training from many institutesor colleges. We suffer due to this reason in our training.

    Lack of Professionalism

    The companys employees are lacking in theirprofessionalism. They dont have the full and adequateknowledge about the personality traits of tourismprofessionals. This leads to create a very chaoticcondition in the company.

    Poor Segment of Market

    Each and every type of company has a fixed targetmarket but in this company there is lack of thesegmentation of the market, it leads to create a hurdlein promotion of company sale.

    Lack of Discipline

    The company also a negative aspect in this way There is

    Lack of discipline. The students learn discipline in theretraining but there is lack of discipline.

    Lack of Proper Guidance

    We are gone there for learning and gain knowledge

    about tourism industry and its components but we haveto suffer in this aspect because of the companys poormanagement for trainer that they dont have any rightinstructor for us.

    SUGGESTIONS

    There should be some suggestion for travel companiesand by following these they had improve their positionand standard in the market and also among theeducational institutes:

    The travel companies must try to improve their contact

    with the educational institutes thats why they used tocalled best students for training in the company.

    The managers of companies must try to maintain properresearch and development department for the properlearning of trainee and also for the development of thecompanys business.

    The travel company also need to develop their HRdepartment for giving right guidance to the trainee andhelps them to build their future bright and make efforts toprovide them job placements after completions of theirstudy course and training. This will lead to increase thenumber of tourism professional in the country.

    The tour operator should provide training to the theiremployees by the time because they are usually lacking in thisaspect and give them right guidance to increase the standard otheir professionalism to maintain and extent the companysmarket size and also the number of customers.

    The company must have their own dress code thats why thtrainee use to learn the discipline and personality traits from thpersonnel of the company where they gone for their training.

    The trainee are must be treated as trainee stop misuse oftheir training by giving them over work. Give them right andproper work and tell them how to do that work, give them righguidance and teach them how to advertise a product in themarket.

    The company has also used to make arrangements for trainfor accommodation and eatables; in fact they used to adoptincentives policies to motivate the trainees to work accordinglyand enthusiastically.
