Spring-Ford Lacrosse Program
Lacrosse is an extracurricular activity.- Your priorities should be:
- Family- Academics- Lacrosse- Everything else
• Family • With in reason and you need to help us teach the
players about priorities responsibility and team.
• Academics!!!!• You need to assist us and
your son by making sure they are getting their work done. Lacrosse takes up a lot of time. They need good time management skills that need reinforcing.
• Lacrosse• We need our players to be dedicated throughout
the season and to keep pace with their teammates throughout the year.
• Everything Else• Jobs, etc…
• Team, Team, Team• We stress the importance of being a team.• Together Everyone Achieves More
• You are a part of that team and need to support our efforts to be successful.
• As a teammate, it is important to be positive.• Please be positive about
our team at all times.• Dinner table, stands,
work etc…
• Social Media• Please address with your players• Monitoring/ Privacy etc…• There has been multiple incidence of these issues
in recent years • Potential impact in future• Colleges• Careers
• Sportsmanship• We expect that our players will conduct
themselves in a sportsman-like way at all times.

•OFFICIALS
All practices and games are mandatory.- Unexcused practices and games are subject to disciplinary action.- Players must be prepared for indoor and outdoor practices everyday.- If you are absent from school or practice, you must bring a note signed by your parents.- Practice schedule is subject to change.
Lacrosse is a TEAM sport!- We will display good sportsmanship at all times.- You are a reflection on your team and school.- EVERYONE RIDES THE BUS TO AND FROM GAMES.- You will be dismissed from the team if your attitude and/or actions are detrimental to the team.
ABSOLUTELY NO DRUGS, ALCOHOL, OR TOBACCO USE OF ANY KIND.
- Violations of this rule will lead to automatic dismissal from the team.
Citizenship- Community misconduct, school misconduct, or other evidence of poor citizenship will result in suspensions and/or dismissal from the team.
All players are financially responsible for the equipment that is provided by the school.- Players must wear a helmet at all times when passing, catching or shooting on school grounds.- Players must have a mouth guard for all practices and games.
Be on time for school.- You must be in school by 8:26am to be eligible for game or practice that day.
During the season, situations may occur that violate a policy that is not listed. These violations will be punishable at the discretion of the coach.
There may be times when a coach will need to contact players in either text or phone call to their cell phone.
