11th Anniversary  2016 PartyRecapDear Bon Vivant Island Club Family and Friends,

The 11th Anniversary Party for Bon Vivant Island Club was held on Friday, June 25thand Saturday, June 26th at the Hilton Rialto in Melbourne, FL.  Friends and familygathered for a buffet dinner on Friday evening, followed by a wine/rum ring toss game.Friday night continued with our Silent Auction. Winners of the Silent Auction, along withthose who donated to items are listed below:

In between the bidding and the ring tossing, we were again fortunate to have CreigCamacho of Mystik NRG (the Caribbean Crew band) and his five piece band play atour event. 

Saturday morning began with volunteers decorating the ballroom for the Saturdayevening event.  A huge thank you goes out to all who chipped in their time to help. Prior to the event, friends and family spent quality time with each other either in thelobby, at the pool or watching a rocket launch from a distance.  We had a newphotographer team, Mark and Edith Pino (Henry Ledee’s sister and her husband) at theevent to take family pictures and action shots of all of us dancing the night away.

President Yvonne Perez and Vice President Lee Mason welcomed everyone.  VivianGreaux provided the opening prayer of thanks before dinner and a moment of silencefor the victims in the recent Orlando nightclub shooting.  Nomination forms weredistributed to attendees for next year’s elections.

The traditional 50/50 raffle brought the following winners: 3rd prize of $55.00 was won

by Janet Turbe; 2nd prize of $85.00 was won by Patrick Olive; and 1st prize of $140.00was won by Gia Greaux. 

Towards the end of the evening, the winners of the Annual Raffle Book drawing wereannounced:

We thank everyone for your generous participation in the drawings, raffles, the silentauction and ring toss.  It makes it easy for us to keep the expenses of our gatheringsaffordable for everyone.

The Board will be meeting on October 8th to plan for our 12th anniversary party in 2017,which will take place at the Double Tree by Hilton, next to Sea World, in Orlando,Florida.
