WOW!!! What a year it has been for Chi Omega with 92 Dallas girls accepting bids!
Let’s give a huge shout-out to our awesome recruitment team
headed by Nan McGee, Diane Brooks and Connie O’Neill, our
computer chairman. Connie tracked and kept records for 497girls from Dallas area high schools. Thank you to our
outstanding high school and collegiate recruitment chairmen
and to all of our alumnae who assisted in writing RIFs and
letters of support or helped behind the scenes with food and
beverages. Your dedication truly makes a difference — as
evidenced by our numbers.
Did you know that Beth Anderson sends a gift to each of our Dallas PNMs from our Chi Omega
Alumnae? We know that Chi Omega is for a lifetime and successful recruitment is the lifeline to
the future of our Fraternity.
Thank you to our Legacy Chairmen: Kim Kelley, Alana Wiebe, Marianne Wilhusen and Kelly
Hosch for hosting our Spring luncheon at the SMU Chi O house on April 28th to introduce our
high school senior legacies to Chi Omega actives from many Texas and surrounding state
universities. Legacies can meet our outstanding actives and hear first hand how Chi Omega
leads on college campuses.
GOTTA GO CHI O * GOTTA GO CHI O * GOTTA GO CHI O * GOTTA GO
Recruitment never rests!
To continue our successful recruitment process, please contact your high school chairman for
RIF forms and additional information. RIF copies may also be downloaded online. High school
chairs are found on page 21 of your directory or at www.chiomegadallas.com, and they will help
you with any questions concerning the RIF process
A Chi Omega RIF packet must include; two support letters, unofficial copy of a transcript,
resume, three pictures (UT needs a 5x7), and the RIF with one signature. The ARIC signature
serves as the second signature. Another page may be acquired from the high school chairs and
is helpful with additional rush tips for the chapter.
THREE COPIES of the above information are needed in addition to the ORIGINAL RIFwith all delivered to the HIGH SCHOOL CHAIR by MAY 1.

student who deserves ascholarship?
The Dallas Alumnae Panhellenic Association is proud to
sponsor an annual scholarship program to promote the Greek
system for local Dallas high school women. To qualify,
applicants must be a graduating high school senior woman
who lives in the Dallas or Highland Park ISD attendance
zones. This includes Addison and University Park. Applicants
must attend an accredited four-year Texas university with
National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) sororities on campus.
The recipient must participate and complete the NPC sorority
recruitment process. This does not mean she is required to
pledge a sorority, but she must participate in the process
before scholarship funds will be distributed to her university. Funds will be sent directly to the
university upon verification of completion of the recruitment process.
The Dallas Alumnae Panhellenic Association Scholarship Committee evaluates each
application with careful consideration. All information is kept confidential.
Completed applications must be postmarked by April 6, 2018. Late applications will not be
considered.
Scholarship recipients will be notified in April 2018 and recognized at our annual Scholarship
Luncheon on May 16, 2018.
Find the scholarship application here.
