We can find courses using a Basic ‘Section Search’ by entering Keywords, Course Code, Period, or Session

Let’s assume the program director advises you to register for 3 courses this term providing you with

the course codes to assure an easy search. CIS101 ENG101 PSY111 We can start by entering the

first one, CIS101 into the Course Code box. (see above)

We could’ve selected the Advanced Search tab to enter additional filter criteria to our search but

sincethe advisor provided the Course Code we’ll use the Basic search so skip over the Advanced

Search on the next page for now and look at the results of our first Basic Search for courses.

Note: We could’ve selected the Advanced Search tab to enter additional filter criteria to our search

Filtering and Sorting Results– when your Search Results are returned, you can use the Options appearing in the menu

on the left to filter and sort the results of your search. Choose the course you want to register for and click the Add button

When Add is clicked Self-Service responds with pop-up confirmation titled ‘Course Added’ As you can see below

you wish to register for from the list of then click Add.
