At NWTC, our full‐time instructors have the opportunity to participate in Teaching Methods 2.0, a teaching reflection course. During one of the first activities, we ask our instructors, "What is one student concern you have and would like to address during this course?"

What do you think the majority of our instructors identify as a student concern, and why did you pick that concern?

Kahoot!* A game‐based classroom response system 

(think Trivia at Buffalo Wild Wings)* Web‐based: any device/computer/laptop that can access the InternetHere's How It Works1) Users will go to kahoot.it and enter a unique game pin and their name2) Once all participants are entered into the 'game', instructor will 

activate game play3) Questions will appear up front on screen. First the question, followed 

by possible answers. Each question has a time limit!4) Players/Students will ONLY see the corresponding colors/shapes on 

their device5) Correct answers and speed will be awarded point value

* those using smart devices must keep device active to avoid getting 'kicked' out of game play
