A 4-layer ergonomic structure in the elbow and shoulder area of the XENON PRO X55-F suit ensures maximum movement with the highest possible protection. The robust flame-resistant Ibena PBI X55 outer material is reinforced by a moisture barrier, abrasion and puncture protection – providing extra padding too – and a breathable lining for optimum heat and moisture control.

The XENON PRO X55-F suit has a 7-layer structure in the knee area, thanks to which maximum comfort and protection are guaranteed.

The fire-resistant Ibena PBI X55 outer material has been enhanced by cut and abrasion protection at the knee for the longest possible service life. Additionally, a chemical – and moisture barrier with a puncture-resistant knee pad fixed in place (to prevent slippage) is provided with a soft layer for extra protection and comfort and a breathable lining.

That way nothing is left to chance in the areas that depend on it the most!

Functions according to 3 principles:

Absorption: Thanks to its viscose construction, the lining quickly absorbs moisture and sweat.

Redirection: A uniform tile-shaped network made of special aramid fibres absorbs the surface moisture and evenly distributes it to the jacket via pores.

Permeability: The moisture is channelled through a regulating mat of aramid fibres and retained in a water-absorbing fibrous web.

A revolutionary approach that raises firefighters’ personal protection to new levels.

The GORE® PARALLON® SYSTEM was developed to counteract the risks of moisture and heat accumula-tion by means of a unique combination made of an extremely breathable GORE® thermal barrier combined with a GORE-TEX® or CROSSTECH® moisture mem-brane. The innovative interaction of two membranes ensures that the thermal protection remains breatha-ble and the moisture from the skin is fed externally through the suit, while at the same time the penetra-tion of moisture from the outside is prevented.

The GORE® PARALLON® membrane is extremely light-weight, breathable and water-tight and as a result achieves maximum quality in thermal protection.

The risk of severe burns and the extent of thermal stress are reduced in both wet and dry conditions. This means garments have comprehensive protection without a trade-off in wearer comfort.
