Pastor’s Pondering…
Thank you… Penny Levos...
For the past four years our congregation has been gifted with the wonderful skills and services of Penny Levos as the Church’s Treasurer. In early July she indicated that she would like to be relieved of her responsibilities when a replacement could be secured/hired. After the Personnel conducted an open search, a replacement, Allison Christiansen, has been hired by the Session. Penny and Allison will work together during the month of September. We, with much gratitude for all of what Penny has done for us, thank her.

Newly Hired Church Treasurer
Welcome…
Allison Christiansen...
The Personnel Committee put together a job description for the position and advertised on Indeed for a new Financial Secretary. After looking over many resumes and conducting two interviews it become clear that Allison was the person to which the position should be offered. References were contacted and a background check was completed.
Allison is a graduate of Rochester Institution of Technology. She has significant experience with computers programs and, along with working for Timeless Frames as a Web Developer, she freelances. Allison has agreed to accept the position of Financial Secretary along with helping the church with social media (webpage and Facebook). The Personnel Committee and Session are excited about having Allison on staff.
Peace and Grace,
Pastor Libby

Ruling Elders
on the Session
The Pastor and the spiritual leaders place a priority on visiting hospitalized members of the congregation. While Samaritan Medical Center Chaplain calls when he knows someone from Stone Presbyterian Church is in this facility, as a general rule hospitals no longer provide information on admissions and dismissals. Please notify the church office if someone you know should be visited in the hospital or while recovering at home or at a care center. Also, if you or someone you know would enjoy a visit from Pastor Libby or a Ruling Elder, or would appreciate receiving communion at home, please phone the church office (788-5630),
e-mail the church office ([email protected]),
or place a note in the collection plate on Sunday.
