This report contains the analytical results for the three samples received under chain of custody bySTL St. Louis on December 15, 2006. These samples are associated with your NORM project.
The analytical results included in this report meet all applicable quality control procedure requirementsexcept as noted on the following page.
The test results in this report meet all NELAP requirements for parameters in which accreditations areheld by STL St. Louis. Any exceptions to NELAP requirements are noted in the case narrative. Thecase narrative is an integral part of this report.
All chemical analysis results are based upon sample as received, wet weight, unless noted otherwise.All radiochemistry results are based upon sample as dried and ground with the exception of tritium,unless requested wet weight by the client.
Observations/NonconformancesReference the chain of custody and condition upon receipt report for any variations on receipt conditionsand temperature of samples on receipt.
Revision: Samples F6L150102 (1) and F6L150102 (2)forTCLP Mercury analysis were re-extracted andreported.
Gross Alpha by 9310 MOD
The Gross Alpha reporting limit was not met due to a shortened count time attributed to the high activityof the samples. The analytical results are reported.Affected Samples:F6L150102(1): DRUM 1

Batch 6362091-The MS (MSD) recovery for Arsenic, Cadmium, and Lead is outside the established QClimits. The said analyte concentration in the original sample is greater than four times the amountspiked, making percent recovery information ineffective. Method performance is demonstrated byacceptable LCS recovery. No further action is required.
The MS (MSD) recovery for Silver, Barium, and Chromium is outside the established QC limits.' TheRPD is within method acceptance criteria indicating possible matrix interference. Method performance isdemonstrated by acceptable LCS recovery. No further action is required.
The samples were analyzed at a dilution due to high concentrations of target and.non-target analytes,caused in part by Zinc and Iron.
